Farmers and Agricultural Loans Fund

The Agricultural Cooperative Bank provides its financing services through a group of funds, the most important of which is the “Farmers and Farmers Loans Fund”, which is a fund that grants loans to all farmers who practice the agricultural profession, provided that they are over 18 years old and do not exceed 70 years old.

Projects funded by the Fund:

Greenhouses, field crops, establishment of honey beehives, establishment and service of high-oil olive grove, autumn and spring potato cultivation, white and yellow corn projects, protected tomatoes, summer crops, sunflowers).

  • The loan applicant must be an Iraqi or Arab who practices agriculture or wishes to practice it with the aim of developing agricultural or animal wealth.
  • The applicant must be between (18-70 years old).
  • Providing proof of ownership of the land or lease contract.
  • Submitting identification documents (nationality certificate, civil status, etc.).
  • Providing guarantees to document the loan (real estate, personal guarantees, bills of exchange).
  • Submission of an economic feasibility study by the borrower in one case, which is if the required amounts equal (50) million dinars or more, provided that the feasibility study is from officially licensed offices.
